Project Support
Funding to develop the Quick Drought Response Index (QuickDRI) was provided by the NASA Applied Sciences Program - Water Resources Applied Research Program. Additional support for the development and operational production of QuickDRI is provided by the USGS Land Remote Sensing Program.
Ongoing operational support is also provided by the National Drought Mitigation Center (NDMC) and U.S. Geological Survey’s Earth Resources Observation and Science (USGS EROS) Center, as well as other NASA and USDA partners and the High Plains Regional Climate Center (HPRCC) that provide data inputs for the operational, near-real time QuickDRI products.
